My Happiness

I think one of the most beautiful things about life is the fact that regardless of how many people live on this planet, each individual carries a unique number of things that contribute to their happiness whether its for a day or for an eternity. I think we often forget to smile and enjoy the little things because we are often carried away with everyday stress, so today I figured I would share a few things that make me happy and I encourage you to do the same.

  1. Listening to music: if you personally know me, you know that no matter what time of day it is,I will most likely be listening to music. Music has always been such an important part of my life not because I think I’m the best singer or instrument player, but I find it so relaxing to sit alone and fall into another world through headphones. I personally use this method as a stress reliever and as a way to have some alone time.
  2. A cup of coffee: Any coffee addict would probably put coffee on their list, and well I am one of those. I guess its not just coffee itself but the time spent while drinking coffee.sitting with friends or alone having a cup of coffee and reflecting on your day/week/month/year. I can sit in a coffee shop sipping on my drink just letting my mind wander.
  3. The city: I’ve mentioned several times that the city will forever hold such an important place in my heart, and well its honestly the idea of escaping into a world of hundreds of people who each have a goal in life to accomplish their dreams regardless of who they are or where they came from. It always fascinates me how everyone is in one area yet every single person has a different story within them.
  4. Fitzgerald: I’ve mentioned that I’ve been dreaming of having a french bulldog since I was young, and when my dreams finally came true, I have never been happier. It always brightens my day knowing that he is always there to greet me at the door. I love that little nugget even though he can be a little butt hole.
  5. Spending time with people who matter: I spent the last few years trying to figure out the secret to finding people who would change my life for the better. I learned that there is no such thing as finding the right people rather knowing the difference between who is actually going to be there for you and who isn’t. Regardless if they stick around or not, they came into your life for a reason.
  6. Disneyland: As a child I didn’t get to experience much traveling because of my parent’s work. Our family trips mainly consist of visiting the happiest place on earth and although we go every year I can’t say that I get tired of it. In fact I look forward to our trips every year.
I would love to know what little things add to your happiness!
I hope you guys are having a great start to summer
