Young Love

Hello Internet,

I'm here to complain about growing up once again. Jokes.

I figured I would share my thoughts on young love.

People interpret love in a variety of manners which I like to think is the reason that love can be both overrated and complicated. The thing is, love is 10x more complicated when its your first relationship, and/or people believe you are too young to understand.

To this I say, bullshit.

I don't think anyone has the right to tell you whether you are too young to love. I have seen several cases where feelings are truly shared. I think adults have a hard time believing that teenagers are capable of loving because of their own personal experiences with relationships in their past. The thing is, everyone is different, some people fall for someone quicker than others.

The funny part is that in general its hard for someone to really assume how you feel about someone from being a bystander. The relationship you share with a significant other can be so personal and showcased in so many ways.

For the longest time I had been questioning if  I was falsely in love, that was until I realized that love isn't determined by time, but by affection.

Perhaps I'll look back and wonder why I ever thought that, but as of right now, I'm young and willing to work to accepting where my feelings stand.

I'll leave you with this...

“There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment.”
